Facilities
The Club enjoys a 40 metre outdoor green which can accommodate 8 rinks and a 6 rink indoor facility
with appropriate ladies and gents changing rooms. In addition, there is a large lounge, a well stocked
bar and comprehensive catering facility provided by an independent caterer.
Three meeting rooms are available for hire at a nominal charge. Buggies, ramps etc are available both
indoors and outdoors for the disabled.
News
Members of the Club are kept informed about what has happened or is going to happen through three basic sources:
-Club notice boards
-Publication of the monthly Club Newsletter called "Off the Rinks"
-Publication of the minutes of each meeting held by the Executive, Bowls and Joint Management Committees.
Club Management
The Club is managed by three Committees, namely:
the Executive, responsible for the day to day running of the Club,
the Bowls,responsible for all bowling matters
the Joint Management, an amalgamation of the Executive and Bowls Committees and which oversees their deliberations and formulates the policy of the Club.
The respective members of each Committee are elected by the Club membership at the Annual General Meeting held in March of each year.
